Background
The professional development program is designed for tour guides who wish to update themselves with new technologies that can upgrade their work. During the professional development program, we will learn how to use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity in preparation for our guiding, content writing, and intelligent marketing. We will delve into the use of Canva for professional graphic design of advertisements and posts on social media, and we will discover how to produce marketing images or videos through AI and with ease. Additionally, we will engage in business management through digital tools and will also derive critical insights from the recent crises that have befallen tour guides. The professional development program provides practical, and applicable skills that will enable every tour guide to improve their work and stand out in the tourism market of 2026.

Basic proficiency in computer applications is required
Laptops are required.

Schedule:

AI Tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity) in service of a tour guide: Preparing a tour day, writing emails to clients, creating marketing images through text. 08:00– 10:30
Coffee Break 10:30 – 10:45
Canva graphic design tool for tour guides – designing marketing advertisements with ease, designing social media posts 10:45 – 12:15
Coffee Break 12:15 – 12:45
Generating videos through AI 12:45 – 13:15
Business management through digital tools and important lessons for tour guides from recent crises 13:15 – 14:00
